• Who I Am

Howdy! Thanks so much for stopping by! Let me introduce myself…

I am a God fearing, always learning, stay-at-home-wife to the best husband in the world! We have been happily married for 7 years and counting! We are still waiting to be blessed with children, however God sees fit.

In 2011, after a lot of prayerful consideration, I became a stay-at-home-wife. Since then, I have been learning to slow down, enjoying the important, simple things in life…like how to be more frugal with what God blesses us with and taking care of my home, my husband and my health. And how many small changes in the healthy directions can move “mountains”!

After my ovarian cyst escapade, I really started to understand how important being healthy, inside and out, really was. I used herbal/natural remedies that worked wonderfully to help reduce my cyst. (Thank you Jesus!) I was hooked! I have been studying herbs ever since and I am continually amazed by the healing power God gave herbs. I am a family herbalist and I love that I can help others discover the many benefits of herb and natural living.

100_3585I really enjoy creating things “home-made” and showing others how to do the same! Which is why I started this blog and my Etsy shop! In the past year, my new found loves have become herbal fix ’ems and things “all natural”! So that is what you will find here…frugal, home-made, and all natural everything!

I hope you enjoy learning from my ideas, mistakes and successes! :)
    Thanks so much for visiting!

Hi, Its wonderful to see someone who believes that taking care of the home is important! I will keep you in my prayers. I saw that you had problems with cyst, I had the same problem. I started researching and saw that my lack of Iodine was a major player in all of my ovarian issues! I am now on a high iodine diet and take Iodide/Iodine. I use the spray on my skin. It has worked wonders! Have you seen the research on that? Well, I just wanted to say Hi and give you that bit of information. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers.
